Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is not celebrated here, but that's ok because we have visitors coming on Thursday.  We can't wait!!!!  It's going to be such a wonderful week.
As I wrote last week, we had a cyclone warning.  It didn't hit until Wednesday night.  We didn't really notice it because it was in the middle of the night.  There were pretty high winds and rain, but not too much damage.  By noon, the sun was out and it was a beautiful day.  I don't know if it was because of the storm, but we had the most amazing sunset.  We met an elder getting ready to leave for the Ogden, Utah mission from Fiji.  I hope he makes his way out to Plain City.
We had some missionaries for dinner.  It's so fun to have them.  Such strong boys.  There were three of them because one was leaving in the morning so he was staying with the two others.  On Wednesday, 6 missionaries were heading home--all to Utah.  I can't imagine what a fun place the airport will be with all their families and friends there.
On Saturday, we had a sealing of a couple to their three children.  I got to get the kids ready and then sit with them until it was time for their sealing.  They were such good kids.  It was fun to hear about their life in their village.  Sounds like a paradise for them.
We had a relief society activity on Saturday afternoon.  They asked the American Senior missionaries from America to plan a US Thanksgiving.  It was so fun.  We all made sides and desserts.  We had rolls and chicken (because turkeys are hard to find and very expensive).  We played Thanksgiving pictionary and some other games.  Everyone had fun and there were many that didn't really know what we did for Thanksgiving.
Just want you to have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  We are all so blessed in so many different ways.  Some of us are going through some hard times, but I hope you can dwell on those things that bring you true happiness.  You are always in our prayers and thoughts.  GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE!!!
Love, Lynn and Kay
